RPL Access Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information and documents you share with us as part of your Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) application. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, how it is protected, and how you can have it deleted.

What We Collect

When you apply for an RPL assessment, we may collect personal details (such as your name, contact information, and work history) and supporting documents (such as employment records, references, certificates, photo ID, and evidence of skills and experience).

Why We Collect It

The documents and information you provide are collected solely for the purpose of your RPL assessment — to determine your eligibility and to support the Registered Training Organisation (RTO) assessing your skills against the relevant qualification standards.

Document Deletion

We do not keep your documents indefinitely. Once your assessment is complete, your submitted documents are deleted from our systems. By submitting your documents to us, you acknowledge and agree to this process, including our sharing of your file with the relevant RTO as described below, solely for the purpose of completing your assessment.

Sharing With RTOs

Your information and documents are not shared with anyone outside of RPL Access Australia, except with the Registered Training Organisation(s) (RTOs) that you approve as part of your application. We act as a liaison between you and the RTO, and sharing your file with your approved RTO is a necessary part of progressing your assessment.

How We Protect Your Data

We take the protection of your personal documents seriously and apply reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to keep your information secure while it is in our possession and during transmission to your approved RTO.

Your Rights

You have the right to request full deletion of your documents and personal information held by us at any time. To make a deletion request, contact us at info@rplaccess.com.au or via our Contact Us page, and we will action your request promptly.
