Terms of Use

Last updated: July 19, 2026

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of RPL Access Australia’s website and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) liaison services. By submitting an application or using our website, you agree to these terms.

Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy, and our Refund Policy.

Our Role as a Liaison

RPL Access Australia acts as a liaison between applicants and Registered Training Organisations (RTOs). We help you identify a suitable RPL pathway, guide you in preparing your documents and evidence, and connect you with an appropriate RTO for formal assessment. We are not the RTO conducting your assessment, and we are not the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA).

Your Responsibilities

To avoid delays or issues with your application, you must provide complete, accurate, and truthful documentation and information. Incomplete or inaccurate documents may result in delays, application issues, or affect your eligibility for a refund (see our Refund Policy).

Application Outcomes & Eligibility

If your application is not cancelled and you are assessed as not eligible for the RPL pathway you applied for, you will receive a full refund. Once your assessment has been successfully issued (i.e., your qualification has been granted), no refund is available. Full details are set out in our Refund Policy.

ASQA Cancellations

In the event of a cancellation initiated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA) or affecting an RTO, you agree to work directly with the relevant RTO(s) to resolve the matter. As our role is limited to liaison services, RPL Access Australia is not responsible for decisions, cancellations, or actions taken by ASQA or any RTO. Providing complete and accurate documentation from the outset helps reduce the risk of such issues.

Fees & Refunds

Our fees and refund eligibility are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms of Use. Please review it carefully before submitting payment for any application.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, RPL Access Australia is not liable for any decisions, delays, cancellations, or outcomes made by an RTO or ASQA. Our responsibility is limited to providing liaison support to help connect you with an appropriate assessment pathway.

Privacy

Your documents and personal information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, including how information is collected, shared with approved RTOs, protected, and deleted.
