Evidence You May Need
RPL assessment is conducted by an RTO. The following types of evidence are commonly discussed during RPL support consultations.
Every RPL application runs on evidence, not classroom hours. For a school based education support RPL application, you'll typically want to gather:
- Photo ID (for the RTO's 100-point identity check)
- An up-to-date resume or CV covering your relevant roles
- Position descriptions or duty statements from schools you've worked at
- Employment contracts, payslips, timesheets, or rosters confirming your role and hours
- Reference letters from teachers, principals, or coordinators verifying the duties you performed
- De-identified individual learning plans, behaviour support plans, or program documentation you contributed to (with all student details removed)
- Your Working With Children Check (WWCC) or equivalent
- First Aid and CPR certificates, if held
- Your Unique Student Identifier (USI), or the details to create one via the USI portal
